The Soft Touch Progressive Release Baseball Base Ground Mount Tapered Plugs fit into the in-ground mounting system of any Soft Touch Progressive Base mounting system, improving safety and preventing player injury. These tapered +plugs are placed into the mounting box under each base. When the base releases after a hard or short slide, the plug prevents further injury by keeping the player’s hands and feet from falling into the open hole of the mounting box. Designed to be used during play.
